Thrift Find of the Day & News

I'm trying to post regularly after my long hiatus in June. It's tricky though because of course summer is never calm--I'm in online AP Language and Composition training all week (which starts at the wretched hour of 7:30 am!), trying to pack our house so we can move, trying to keep up with my theatre job (post coming once the final show opens online), and trying to get rid of stuff!

I needed to get out of the house after sitting on Zoom all day so I went to Goodwill-- you know, the perfect place to go when you need to downsize your material possessions. To be fair, I have a box of stuff I need to drop off--just waiting until it gets closer to the move. Anyway, here's my find of the day!

I've never been to the Smithsonian but I've been to the Cosmosphere in Hutchinson, KS on my sister's recommendation and it's awesome! I have two patches from there and now I've got these! My goal is to acquire a vintage jean jacket to load up with patches-- but aesthetically, I might need more than one since I have a lot of different patches in need of permanent homes. I don't feel guilty about buying these, either, even with a move on the horizon! They are easy to pack and take up little to no space (hah!) and I'm giving my siblings one each!

In terms of NEWS, nothing too exciting other than that I started an Instagram account to chronicle my renovation of the dollhouse I posted about last time. I'll probably still post on here occasionally but if you want photos with short, concise captions (well, relatively concise...) check out: englishcountrydollhouse. I will need input on color soon! I've already removed doors and taken up the damaged floor in the future bathroom! Stay tuned.
