Beginning Again
Hello!
If I had to count, this is probably my 4th or 5th blog. Everyone had one in junior high--with cryptic posts about boys using code names--or in college, where everyone was trying on different personas and thoughts. I think my Myspace account is still in existence... the other blogs have thankfully been deleted!
I know it might seem silly to start one now in my thirties, during a pandemic. But I want a space to write about things that interest me and potentially interest others. Thanks to the "shelter-in-place" order in the state I live in, I'm finally able to read for fun and work on craft projects. And like everyone I know, I'm also binge watching a lot of tv!
My goal for this blog is to curate interesting photos, ideas, and articles as well as write about books I am reading, movies and tv shows I recommend, and recipes (without the histrionic life story and 2 million ads) I have tried. I'll even show you some of my arts and crafts projects--if you promise not to laugh!
I'm a high school English teacher who is frantically trying to becoming tech savvy as classes move online (this week is our Spring break). We're about to start The Inferno and the timing could not be better! I'll let you know how it goes. I'm brainstorming some fun assignments--so if you're a teacher, feel free to borrow.
x,
Maggie
